Economic Recovery Program

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Tax Act of 2009 (ARRA) is the program under which Economic Stimulus funds are introduced into the economy. This program was signed into law by President Obama in an effort to stimulate the economy, create jobs, improve healthcare and more. The ARRA program will admit a total of $787B into the economy. Of the $787B, approximately $280B will be administered through State and Local governments primarily through Grants, Loans and Bonds. The majority of the funding will be dispersed by the end of Fiscal Year 2012.

The purpose of these pages is to inform the Public about ARRA related opportunities that are made available to Charlotte County. The County has put a specialized team together to aggressively pursue all available economic stimulus funding.
