Project Status Update
Sales Tax Year One Sidewalks
This project will consist of, but not be limited to, all aspects of the design and construction management for sidewalks and ancillaries funded by the Sales Tax. Following is a preliminary list of sidewalks Charlotte County proposes to have designed. The County reserves the right to add or delete locations.
North County
• Alton Road (Midway Boulevard to Sheehan Boulevard)
• Collingswood Boulevard (Toledo Blade Boulevard to Edgewater Drive)
South County
• Florida Street (Marion Avenue to Carmalita Street)
• South Fairway Drive (Golf Course Boulevard)
West County
• Manor Road (County Road 775 to State Road 776)
• Rebel Court/Boundary Boulevard (Bonita Drive to Vineland Elementary School Entrance)
Future dates and durations associated with this project are approximations and are dependent on funding, permitting, weather, and contractor availability. Permitting for some projects, depending on their complexity, can take years to obtain.
