Cape Haze Drive Bridge Replacement

This project provides for replacement of the Cape Haze Drive Bridge, which provides a critical transportation link for West County residents. The Bridge, which spans the Amberjack Cove Waterway, is located on Cape Haze Drive, approximately .15 miles east of CR 775. 

The existing structure does not conform to current standards for lane width, and the existing deck and abutments need to be repaired. The cost of these repairs make it more effective to replace the structure. Funding will be provided by the Placida Street and Drainage MSBU.

Future dates and durations associated with this project are approximations and are dependent on funding, permitting, weather, and contractor availability. Permitting for some projects, depending on their complexity, can take years to obtain.
