COUNTYWIDE
MAINTENANCE
DREDGING PROGRAM
The Charlotte
County Maintenance Dredging Program is designed to achieve the
following:
|
1. |
Maintain
currently-funded channels by initiating routine
maintenance dredging cycles.
|
|
2. |
Assist in
developing new funding districts (MSBU/TU's) for
unfunded waterways.
|
|
3. |
Consolidate work into larger,
biddable projects to achieve the lowest unit cost for
removal and disposal of material. |
