Education:
High school graduate. Attended Findlay College and Manatee Community College.

Public Service:
Elected to Board of County Commissioners, 2008

Work Experience:
Started as a bag boy in 1963 and rose to assistant store manager by 1967 at Seaway Food Town in Toledo, Ohio. Left to work for Procter & Gamble Distribution Co, where he worked for nearly 30 years before retiring in 1995.

U.S. Power Squadron, Lieutenant
Instructor for the U.S. Power Squadron in Charlotte County from 1987 through 1991
