- Minimum Drawing & Submittal Requirements for Water, Wastewater, and Reclaimed Water Projects - This new version incorporates the Site Plan Review (formerly known as the DRC) process in an effort to streamline the application process. Clarification regarding easements, landscaping, and a number of other issues have also been incorporated.
- CADD Standards - All record drawings submitted must be accompanied by its corresponding CADD files for uploading the location of assets into the Geo Database system. These CADD Standards are being introduced to provide guidance to the CADD Technician on the proper geographic orientation (coordinate system and datum), model space, drawing units, snapping & connectivity, layer formatting, and other related issues for properly setting up CADD files in order to seamlessly import them into Geo Database system.
- CADD Layers - For your convenience and recommended use, CADD layers have been prepared according to CCU Minimum Drawing Requirements and CADD Standards. For 2011, these layers have been updated to reflect the proposed 2011 revisions to the CCU Minimum Drawing Requirements and new CADD Standards manual. You may select one of the following links to download a zip file containing these layers for water and sewer.
- Standard Specifications - The Standard Specifications have been designed into a bid-ready format. All engineers and contractors will be expected to use these Standard Specifications during the design, bidding and construction process to ensure uniformity in standards, materials, products, and construction. These Standard Specifications represent the minimum requirements; additional specifications or requirements may be added to projects on an as-needed basis.
- Standard Details - The Standard Drawing Details have been updated with clarifications that have been discovered from the previous publication. New for 2011, Section 5. Lift Stations Details will be handled differently. See note on Standard Details Index - Section 5 for additional information. Additionally, the Reclaim Details have been separated from the Potable Water Details into its own Section 9.
- Engineering Design Manual - The Engineering Design Manual provides guidelines for designing facilities to be incorporated into the CCU system. This Manual continues to be under construction and will be posted as soon as it is complete.
- Cross Connection Control Manual - The Cross Connection Manual dated February 2008, remains in effect in its entirety. CCU is monitoring new developments coming from FDEP which may impact these guidelines and as a result may require an update to this manual. We will continue to keep the building and engineering community informed of any changes in policy or guidelines in relation to cross connection control as a result of any changes required by FDEP.
