Requirements for Applications - Occupation of Easement
A boundary survey and a site plan are required with each application submitted by the owner of record or authorized agent.
An original signed/sealed (raised) Boundary Survey prepared by a Florida Licensed Surveyor.
- The original signed/sealed Boundary Survey must meet the minimum technical requirements of Chapter 61-G-17-6 Florida Administrative Code.
- The latest certification date of the Boundary Survey must be within six months of the date of application.
- The Boundary Survey must also show and identify all platted easements and rights-of-way.
- The Boundary Survey must contain the title "Boundary Survey"
- The survey must be no larger than legal size (8.5"X14").
A Site Plan
- The original site plan must meet the minimum technical requirements of Chapter 61-G-17-6 Florida Administrative Code.
- If the site plan is prepared by a Florida licensed Surveyor and Mapper, it must also bear an original signature and a raised seal.
- The site plan must be dated or certified within three months of the date of application.
- The site plan must identify and show the location of all easements and rights-of-way, all existing improvements, any proposed improvements, and an identification of any items encroaching into any easement or right-of-way.
- The site plan should show any underground utilities that exist.
- The site plan must contain the title "Site Plan".
- The site plan must be no larger than legal size (8.5" x 14").
