Drainage Problem Service Request

Drainage is an important issue in Charlotte County, due to our abundance of natural and manmade waterways, the high water table, and our frequently heavy rains. Rainwater that drains out of the swale or ditch area within 72 hours is determined to fall within Charlotte County's guidelines for an adequately functioning drainage system.

If you see a standing water problem that exceeds the 72-hour guideline or damaged/blocked drainage infrastructure, please submit the following service request or call 941.575.3600.

Include the nature and location of the problem, providing as much information as possible. Also provide your contact information in case our staff requires additional information.
