TURKEY SHOOT COMPETITIONS
SOUTH COUNTY, HAROLD AVENUE
& TRINGALI RECREATION CENTERS
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Nov. 6, 2009) – Use your basketball skills to win a turkey for Thanksgiving Dinner! Charlotte County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources will host Turkey Shoot competitions from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 10, 2009, at South County Recreation Center, 670 Cooper St., Punta Gorda; Thursday Nov. 12, 2009, at Harold Avenue Recreation Center 23400 Harold Ave., Port Charlotte and Thursday Nov. 12, 2009, at Tringali Recreation Center, 3460 N. Access Rd., Englewood. The competition will match child and parent teams divided by age with a best combined score to win. Cost is $6.00 per team.
