Green Futures Expo and Energy Options Conference
Focus on Green Living and Alternative Energy

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Oct. 30, 2009) – The Green Futures Expo & Energy Options Conference, to be held on Nov. 1 and 2 at the Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center, located at 75 Taylor Street, Punta Gorda, is a unique opportunity for southwest Floridians to learn more about green living and alternative energy sources.

The Green Futures Expo will take place on Sunday, Nov. 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The tradeshow will include over 60 vendors demonstrating green products and services, as well as instructional workshops throughout the day. Admission is free.

The Energy Options Conference, Monday, Nov. 2, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., will bring together representatives from some of the leading companies in the field of alternative energy. The event will include keynote speakers, as well as a series of panel discussions. Attendees must register no later than Oct. 26; cost is $50 per person. The registration fee includes continental breakfast, catered lunch and refreshments throughout the day. The conference is divided into four sessions, with ample opportunities for questions and interaction with the speakers and presenters.

Hosted by the Charlotte County Economic Development Office and Charlotte County Building Construction Services, the two day event will bring together under one roof a collection of industry specialists and keynote speakers. Homeowners, business leaders, builders and community organizations can learn about the substantial dollar savings that can be attained by modifying how we live through the utilization of green living principles.
