CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Sept. 2, 2009) –Charlotte County Government schedules in observance of Labor Day are as follows:

All Charlotte County Government Business Offices – Closed
Murdock Administration Center – Closed
Charlotte Harbor Visitor & Convention Bureau offices – Closed (Visitors with questions on things to do can call 1.800.652.6090)
Charlotte County Historical Center – Always closed on Mondays, closed Tuesday Sept. 8 in observance of the holiday
Charlotte County Libraries – Closed
Charlotte County Library Administration – Closed
Family Services Center – Closed
Fire/EMS Headquarters Closed – All other stations open
Sunshine Ride – Closed
Dial-A-Ride – Closed
Zemel Road Landfill – Open
Mini-Transfer Facilities – Closed
Garbage, yard trash and recycling collection services will occur on its regular schedule.
Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Resources Administration office – Closed
Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center – Closed
Skate Parks – Open
Pools – Open
South County Regional Park Recreation Center – Open
Tringali Recreation Center– Closed
Harold Ave Recreation Center – Closed
