The Bedbug Menace and Rodent and Mole Management
Charlotte County, Fla. (August 20, 2009) The Charlotte County Environmental and Extension Services will be presenting a two part class entitled “The Bedbug Menace” and “Rodent and Mole Management”, Tuesday, September 22 from 1 to 4:30 pm at the Charlotte County Environmental Campus, 25550 Harbor View Road, Port Charlotte (west off of I-75 exit 167).
Speaker, Dr. Fred Santana, Integrated Pest Management Specialist, will talk about the bed bugs resurgence. Learn why bed bugs have been persistent pests of humans throughout recorded history. In part II of our afternoon program, learn how to exclude and control roof rats, the principal house and yard invading rat in the County, as well as moles that tunnel through your lawns.
