Water Use Restrictions at Lake Maryknoll

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Aug. 17, 2009) – Charlotte County Environmental & Extension Services announces water use restrictions for the fresh water lake of Maryknoll in Englewood for the purpose of irrigation. Do not use this water for irrigation purposes. Buoys will be placed in the waterways during the restriction duration.
Water restrictions begin Aug. 24, 2009 and will end on Sept. 24, 2009. When the buoys are removed from the lake, it will be safe to use the water. The lake is bordered by Pine Street to the east, Maryknoll Road on the south, Martha Place to the west and Eileen Place to the north.
