Internet Safety

Children and teenagers should inform themselves of the potential dangers they may face while online. Parents may also wish to educate themselves on the resources available to help protect their children. The following material is presented by age group and designed to improve awareness and prevent online victimization.

NetSmartz® is an interactive, educational safety resource from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® and Boys & Girls Clubs of America. NetSmartz® is for children (ages 5-17), parents, guardians, educators, and law enforcement and uses age-appropriate, 3-D activities to teach children how to stay safer on the Internet.
The NetSmartz Workshop can be accessed at www.NetSmartz.org and www.NetSmartzKids.org.
