Housing Services 
The Housing Division of Charlotte County Human Services administers the State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) Program and other funds available for affordable housing initiatives. Its housing efforts are accomplished by developing partnerships with local lenders, nonprofit organizations and affordable housing developers. The Division also serves as Charlotte County’s housing liaison with the State of Florida and other state and federal housing advocates.
The Housing Division launched a Neighborhood Revitalization Program in 2006 to improve the quality of life in specified areas. Housing and community resources are utilized to enhance and promote the goals and efforts of area residents.
