Petition PA-10-06-19 and Z-10-06-20, the proposed small scale plan amendment and rezoning for Weston's Resort, has been withdrawn. This petition will NOT be heard at the November 15, 2010 Board of County Commissioner's land use meeting. 

Proposed Revision to the Code

Based on the response of Manasota Key residents and at the request Commissioner Skidmore, public hearings to consider the proposed revisions to the Manasota Key Overlay scheduled before the Planning and Zoning Board on September 13, 2010, and before the Board of County Commissioners on October 19, 2010 and November 16, 2010 will be postponed. This will allow the newly appointed Manasota and Sandpiper Key Planning advisory committee time to collaborate with members of the community and county staff to consider possible revisions to the Manasota Key Overlay. At this time, no new dates for public hearings are being proposed.
