Impact Fees
At the June 28 2011 Board of County Commissioners meeting, the Board unanimously voted to eliminate all Impact Fees other than those payable for roads for a period of 12 months. This is an innovative and pro-active effort on the part of the BCC to reduce construction costs and encourage investment and growth Charlotte County. The new fee schedules are attached and should you have any questions, please contact the zoning department at 743-1964.
The Impact Fee Payment Program was established to help Commercial and Industrial projects. Impact fee payments can be deferred or paid by installment. To apply, send in the completed application to the Zoning Division, 18400 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte, FL 33948-1074. You may call 941.743.1964 if you have questions about the program or wish to check on the progress of your application.
