Composting is the most sensible way to handle your yard waste.  By using compost you return organic matter to the soil in a form usable by plants.

Some of the Benefits of Compost:

  • Increase moisture and nutrient retention to sandy soils.
  • Improved aeration and root penetration.
  • Reduced crusting of soil surface.
  • Small amounts of nutrients added.
  • Increased number of beneficial soil organisms which suppress harmful soil organism.
  • Improve soil damage.
