Shell Creek Preserve

Shell Creek Preserve is a 370 acres preserve consisting of cypress lined creek banks, xeric hammock, small areas of mesic hammock, scrub, depressional marshes and large areas of longleaf pine dominated mesic flatwoods. Shell Creek preserve provides visitors the opportunity to observe the birds and wildlife while canoeing on the creek that runs through the center of the park.

Directions:

4334 Nellis Lane, Punta Gorda, Florida
Take Highway 17 north; Turn right on Washington Loop Road; Turn onto Trails End Road; Follow signs to the Shell Creek Preserve.
