RECEIVING STATION OPERATION
Each permitted transported waste hauler is asked to supply Charlotte County Utilities with a pin number unique to their company that will allow access to the automated discharge station. Upon arriving at the facility, the driver hooks his discharge hose to the receiving station and inserts a key to activate the electronic keypad.
The driver then enters his company pin number into the electronic key pad that activates the inlet valve so discharge can commence. Upon completion of the discharge, the driver removes the key. A printed receipt of actual gallons discharged is then given to the driver. Billing is based on actual gallons discharged.
