Account/Payment Information

Can I make cash payments?
Yes. We accept cash payments in person at our East Port Campus office location. Please do not send cash through the mail or place in our payment drop boxes.

Can I pay by check?
Yes. We accept checks at the East Port Campus office location, through the mail and over the telephone.

When making a payment by check, we reserve the right to present your check electronically for payment by your bank. This electronic debit will be for the exact amount of your check and the transaction will appear on your bank statement as BOCC or Web Pay Brd of Cty Comm. Your original check will not be returned to your financial institution and will be destroyed two months after it has been processed.

Where can I pay my bill in person?
You can pay your bill in person at:
• East Port Campus (office and drop box) – 25550 Harbor View Road, Port Charlotte
• West County Annex (drop box) – 6868 San Casa Drive, Englewood
• Murdock Administration Complex (drop box) – 18500 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte
• Charlotte County Justice Center (drop box) – 350 E. Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda

Please note: Payments received in CCU’s business office by 2 p.m. are posted the same business day. Payments made at off-site drop box locations may take two or three days to reach our office for processing.

How do I pay my bill by mail?
You can mail your payment to P.O. Box 516000, Punta Gorda, FL 33950. Please do not send cash through the mail.

Can I pay my bill online?
Yes. With EZ-Pay you can pay your bill online use Visa, MasterCard, checking or savings account, or American Express. You can sign up for a one-time payment or recurring payments. It’s quick and easy. Please note: Payments made online after 2 p.m. will not be posted until the next business day.

Can I pay my bill over the phone?
If you do not have access to a computer, you can make a Visa, Master Card, American Express, checking or savings account payment over the telephone. Call (941) 764-4300 to listen to all available options.

Is there an added charge for paying online/over the telephone?
At this time, there is no additional charge associated with these services.

Can I change my address online?
At this time, CCU does not have the capability of allowing customers to change their address online. Please mark the box on the front of your bill stub (fill out the back of the coupon) or you can write, fax or telephone your address change to our office.

Can I change my name online?
At this time, CCU does not have the capability of allowing customers to change their name online. Proof of name change, such as a copy of marriage certificate, death certificate or divorce decree, must accompany the change of name request. This can either be faxed to our office at (941) 764-4557 or mailed to our office at P.O. Box 516000, Punta Gorda, FL 33951-6000.

Can I pay my mandatory wastewater connection in installments?
Yes, we offer a loan at eight percent interest. Please contact our Customer Account Specialists at (941) 764-4300 and select Customer Service to discuss the plans available.

I want to pay off my loan early; can you tell me the balance?
The balance changes from day to day, due to the interest. Please contact one of our Customer Account Specialists at (941) 764-4300 and select Customer Service for a balance inquiry.

Is there a penalty if I pay the loan off early?
No, there is no prepayment penalty.

Why didn't I receive a return envelope with my bill?
Due to Budget constraints, we have discontinued return envelopes.
