Manasota and Sandpiper Key Advisory Committee

The advisory committee did not meet during the summer of 2009 due to a lack of quorum. The seven member committee began the summer of 2009 with one vacancy and, during the summer, three members resigned. This left the committee with only three active members; the amount needed for quorum is four members. The three remaining committee members' terms expired in January 2010. Therefore, no advisory committee meetings have been held since May of 2009. A new advisory committee was appointed in August of 2010 and held their first meeting on Oct. 20, 2010.
