SR 776 & /CR 771/CR775: Lemon Bay/Myakka Trail Corridor Advocacy Group (CAG)
Florida Scenic Highways Program
An
important component of the SR 776 Corridor Study was the creation of short,
mid, and long term goals for the implemenation of action items along the
Corridor. Designation of the Corridor as a Scenic Highway is the first
of the Study's implemantation goals to be addressed. The first step is
the creation of a Corridor Advocacy Group (CAG). This group will work
with staff and the FDOT consultant to gather the information to apply
for designation.
The Board of County Commissioners approved, by consent, the formation of the CAG and the "moving forward" with the Scenic Highway Designation process, on July 12th, 2005.
