Residential Quick Permits

Over-the-counter Quick permits require no review process. These permits generally cost $90.00 and may be brought to the Building Division, 18400 Murdock Circle in Port Charlotte. The permit will be issued immediately. Or, you can use our On-Line Permit Application.

Quick Permits can be obtained for the following items:

  1. Wood Fences Affidavit (For inside lots only)
  2. Air Conditioning
  3. Roof Repair & New
  4. Driveway within the Right of Way
  5. Electrical - New Installation & Repairs
  6. Plumbing - New Installation & Repairs
  7. Water Heaters and Conditioners - New Installation & Repairs
  8. Lawn Sprinkler - New Installation & Repairs
  9. Heat Pump
  10. Solar Permit-no longer requires a permit
  11. Demolition
  12. Commercial Change of Occupancy
  13. Sewer Connection
  14. Hurricane Shutters
