Aggressive Dogs listed on this site are now categorized as either a Level I Threatening Dog or a Level II Dangerous Dog.

Level I Threatening Dog

This classification is for dogs that have:

  • Attacked and/or injured a domestic animal
  • Have approached a person, on or off of the owner’s property, upon the streets, sidewalks or any public grounds in a menacing fashion or apparent attitude of attack.

Level II Dangerous Dog

This classification is for dogs that have:

  • Attacked a person
  • Killed or severely injured a domestic animal
  • Been a repeat offender under the “Threatening Animal” section
